Cylinder Head Modifications

I managed to source a new cylinder head for a very reasonable price, only to find later that the cam caps that were missing were matched to the head, so I wouldn't be able to use caps from another head!!!  Still managed to get a hold of some caps and had the head line bored, this cost a small fortune.  Never make that mistake again!

I have polished and ported the head and by comparison to the original the difference is enormous.  I'm still using the standard size valves of which the exhaust ones are sodium filled as standard, handy for the turbo.  I have a set of 400 lift piper cams, piper vernier pulleys and piper double valve springs that will be used with this head.

The pictures below show the extent of the polish and porting that I've done on the project head.
